The unseasonably hot temperatures and accompanying dry conditions throughout Israel on Sunday 7 Iyar has Israel’s fire services responding to fires all over the country. Fire Department officials have urged everyone to exercise additional caution to avoid accidental blazes, especially outdoors where conditions are prime for a fire spreading rapidly.

One large fire broke out around noon in Haifa, not far from Yeshivas Nachlas HaLevi’im where we can see talmidim removing the contents of the yeshiva as the fire continued spreading. At the time the photos were taken the fire did not involve the yeshiva Baruch Hashem but talmidim were instructed to be cautious in the event the fire reaches the yeshiva.
